WEDDING RINGS/ ALTERNATIVE MATERIALS PDF Print E-mail

Increases in cost of wedding rings and jewellery

The soaring price of precious metals has led to an inevitable increase in the cost of wedding rings and other jewellery, particulary in Platinium and Gold.

Concerns over the supply of Platinium from South Africa coupled with the global fears regarding financial stabillity, have led to a high levell of investment in Platinium and other precious metals. These factors have combined to push Platinium prices to an all time high, with other precious metals following suit.

The impact of these huge price increases has most keenly felt in the wedding ring market with prices changing on a daily basis.Although jewellers are trying to maintain a reasonable pricing structure, some are thinking ahead and introducing new alternative materials to their collections.

The beauty of alternative jewellery materials

pebbles leads the field in this respect by strongly featuring rings in Titanium, Palladium, Zirconium and Steel alongside their collections in Platinium and Gold, thus giving customers the opportunity to be among the first to appreciate the beauty, strength and value of these alternatives to the more traditional metals.

Freedom of choice in mens wedding rings

When buying wedding Rings the womans choice is often dictated by the metal of her engagement ring, but the man has the freedom to experiment with the wide variety of new metal designs. The affordabillity of these rings has the added bonus of leaving more of the budget available for the Bride to select her ring!

Expanding range of wedding ring metals

However, if you are forward thinking enough, there is now a range of palladium diamond solitaire rings available along with other contemporary diamond set designs on Titanium, Zirconium and Steel.

CIVIL PARTNERSHIP RINGS PDF Print E-mail

Civil Partnership Rings

TV's Colin and Justin are the latest celebrity couple to tie the knot in a Civil Partnership and they chose Platinium civil Partnership rings to symbolise their commitment.

At pebbles, in both Edinburgh and Bo'ness, you can choose from Platinum Civil Partnership Rings, Yellow and White Gold Civil Partnership Rings, Palladium Civil patnership Rings, Titanium Civil Partnership Rings and Stainless Steel Civil Partnership Rings all available with diamonds or without diamonds.

Titanium

Titanium is almost as corrosion resistant as Platinium, as strong as steel, hypoallergenic and as beautiful as it is practical.

Titanium civil partnership rings are available in matt, polished or textured finishes, and other metals and diamonds can be added to create stunning designs with texture and colour.

Palladium civil partnership rings are now available in a wide range of designs and textures with matt or polished finshes and of course can be set with diamonds.

Sample ImageZirconium

The great quality of Zirconium that sets it apart from other materials is that when heat treated it forms a hard black silky ceramic surface called Zirconia, which is incredibly hard wearing.

Aesthetically the stunning civil partnership rings produced from Zirconium with either matt or high polish finishes can be all black or silver colour, or a mix of both and can be set with diamonds to create eye catching and extremely durable civil partnership rings.

Stainless Steel

Steel has been popular in Europe for some time and is quickly gaining recognition in the UK. We are all happy wearing stainless steel watches and it makes sense to transfer steels atractiveness and durabillity to jewellery.

Stainless steel civil partnership rings are available in matt and polished finishes, and when combined with other materials such as ceramics, rubbers and diamonds create incredible style.

Here at pebbles we take the time to get to know our couples to match them with the perfect civil partnership rings to compliment their relationship and lifestyles.

Choose from extensive range or design your own

You may even decide to commision your civil partnership rings to be made from your own ideas which you can arrange through our in-house design service based in our Edinburgh shop & gallery.
